General Contractor

With the General Contractor project delivery method, the owner employs the services of Architects, Engineers, and Consultants to design the project.

A General Contractor performs or supervises the construction of a project based on the design provided by the owners. The general contractor may use its own employees to perform the work and/or the services of subcontractors.

In today’s market, this method is quickly becoming the least desirable. An owner typically pays a higher fee for design and value-engineering considerations have not been applied.

"...Working with Clark & Leatherwood made our construction adventure a pleasure. We have built homes before and are aware of all the challenges that custom home building provides. Working with your company made our home building experience as pleasant as it could have been......We love the home you delivered and you delivered it on time....."
~ David Linsky, RFLP Group

General contractors coordinate and supervise the work at construction sites from early development to final product. Contractors must be able to communicate well with owners and subcontractors in order to achieve the desired goal.

"...Clark & Leatherwood has completed three projects for me, each being over a million dollars. They are very dilligent in trying to produce quality at the lowest cost possible. They are willing to share all information concerning the financial aspects of a project and keep a very good time line for project and progress...."
~ Ken Stahl, Owner and President, K&K Corporation
